I will put pics of them up tonight when I get home. They can be seen HERE on Comptech's Website.
These springs were VERY solid on my OEM shocks. I couldn't have asked for a better set of springs to ride on for daily driving and also perform well on the twisties.
The picture of my car in my sig has these springs on it at about a 1.75" drop. I would love to sell these with my oem shocks included with them. The pic's I took have the full assembly.
As you can see in the link they retail new for $695. This is your chance to get some good performance coilovers for your oem or other shocks.
I am not looking to get around $600, i was more in the ball park of wanting about half that so around $300 would make me VERY HAPPY!!! but you can still make me an offer on them....just please be reasonable.
Because in your 1 year of modding your S2000 you have learned everything there is to learn about aftermarket products
When dealing with a vehicles suspension there are numerous different terms & items.
You have your Lowering Springs - such as Espelir & KG/MM
You have your Adjustable Springs/Coil-Overs - such as Skunk
change the budweiser to rolling rock and get me a couple hundred dollars worth and we can maybe talk, i jsut don't know if i have room for that much beer
Even though Comptech sells the springs alone and markets them as springs, they are adjustable and can be considered coilovers when paired with shocks - exactly what Comptech calls them when you buy these springs with Konis. Coilovers do not have to be name brand matches, but if Dan is just selling springs then they're just springs
The Ground Control kits can be called coilovers as well - but these are matched for Konis:
There are numerous different variations what can be "considered" a coil-over versus what can not. An adjustable spring set-up does NOT have to be matched with an aftermarket strut (from any manufacturer) to be considered a coilover.
Please visit www.skunk2.com. They do offer a "Coil-Over Kit". This is merely an adjustable spring, it does not include any shocks of any sort.
I'll argue this all day long with anyone who wishes to - as I have a receipt at my house for purchasing a set of Skunk
