Default fs: going back to stock

I have been contemplating for the last month whether or not to go back to near stock and I think I've made my decision to sell off some of my parts...I'm relatively firm on everything but the hood

K&n fipk with freshly cleaned filter and water/dirt resistant filter sock(dry charger)-180
Oem vented hood-pic has no mesh but it has black mesh-300
I won't sell the intake unless the hood sells first or together
i may add my 06 rims/tires as well for 800

hood was painted silverstone in sept

not really interested in any trades but you can post or pm me with anything

How do you drive that thing in the rain with the filter right there under that vent?

Haha I thought about selling the HT but I like it too much...first thing i ever bought for the car...guess it has sentimental value as well

I'm guessing just like everyone else: key in and turn, press and hold "START" button, wait a minute for the car to warm up a tad, while engaging clutch move shifter into the 1st gear- release clutch, repeat as necessary with subsequent gears. Brake as necessary.
And then suffer hydro-lock getting out of the driveway.

So it actually works huh. I've always been skeptical about the sock thing and the little flimsy cover that Injen sells.

Good point.

But I did state 'rain' in my first post.

The sock is very effective...I would recommend it to anyone who has th aem and is in fear of hydrolock...The filter actually sits at the rear of the hole so the majority of the filter is covered by the piece between the holes...
