Now I can check in with the S while I'm on the road The motion detection system will save an image and email it to me too.

How often are you using the talk and listen buttons?

I haven't used the talk and listen buttons since the setup. Brenda can use them to yell at me from anywhere in the world.

Um... Given your (and her) vocation, you MAY want to disable those features.

Seriously... I am HIGHLY jealous. Any chance you would be willing to share the specs on your setup?

Nice setup Rob. When I saw your first pic, I thought you painted your S.

I'm using a Trendnet TV-IP312W wireless internet camera. It has illumination LEDs for night shots, a microphone, and a speaker plug for two-way communication.

The link to the Trendnet website is Here You can also get cameras with remote pan and scan.

To connect when I'm away from home I go to robrobinette.com:83 (port 83) and my router sends the http request to the camera. The camera asks for authentication and I'm in.
