Default Getting a refund from Honda!?!?!?!?!

Ok everyone I am trying to find a way to keep my car. Back in March or april(I can not remember) I went to the dealer that I bought my car from. I bought the car at the end of august 06. When I filled out the paper work i had put roughly6500 miles on the car When I went in to talk to the guy that would get me my refund he told me it would be 4-8 weeks before my bank had the money from the refund.I had talked to my bank and they told me it would not go in my accountbut straight towards my car which is what I wanted anyways. I was told only a little would go towards interest from the bank and the magority would go towards the prinicpal. Here it is 12-16 weeks later and I still have not heard anything. I called the dealer monday and talked to someone who said he would look into it for me and give me a call back. I waited until yesterday(friday) to call back and when I did he had someone in his office and was asked if I wanted to leave a message on his voicemail. Which I left a very peaceful/calm message asking him to give me a call back at his earliest convenience. I still have not heard back from him. What I am trying to find out is what I should do next I dont want to give them a hard time but it is the dealer and i guess i have to be persistant with them to get what I want. Please give me some input on what to do next.

Chris, go in and speak with them in person. If the gentleman is not available ask politely if it would be possible to deal with the general manager because you have not been making satisfactory progress with him. Seems like they may be trying to brush you off.

Going in person would be the best way to make progress. Then work up the food chain.

You should have recivied the paper work for the insurance and the warranty when you purchased the car. The paper work has the info needed to cancel the policies. You cannot cancel them with a phone call to the dealer.

yeah, good luck trying to get this straight. like everyone said..i would go in and talk to them and work my way up if i kept getting the run around. eventually you can get to the top if youre pissed off enough hehe if not, start scaring customers out of the showroom..that really gets their attention.
