So I come out the other morning to find my side blinker hanging out... all wiring intact, no signs of forced exit. Can't imagine that the freezing temps would somehow push it out - so is this a subtle hint from some diligent neighbour that I should use it more often when weaving..?

 

Is one side of the retaining clips broken? In extremely cold weather plastic can become brittle.

I've been through a few sets myself whenever I detail the car. Try to remove it to clean thoroughly and *snap*.

Yeah, now I see that a bit of the retaining clip is missing... At first I was so scairt that I nudged it right back in and it seemed to sit there snugly like it never happened... Thanks y'all!

 

yeah I have my replacement sidemarkers sitting right here... with mine the plastic 'clip' broke off and grinded into my bumper like Rick did to Eddie's couch
