Default Hardtop vanadalism

Three months after having someone cut my softop I recently purchased a used hardtop from Guedo115 from the delval region. I bought the hardtop so no one would be able to cut my soft top anymore. But yesterday on May 4, 2006 someone threw a bottle through my hardtop rear glass window . This was happening while I was ordering my new exhaust from steve@evolution. I will have a quote for the rear glass this sunday, but my questions are:

1. Is it still possible just to fix the rear glass? or would purchasing a new one be better?

2. Will Insurance cover the hardtop?

3. Anyone know a shop that can order the part (if there is one?)?

4. Has anyone else experience this and can recommend a great shop to fix it?

I'm located in Glen Burnie, MD and if anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. I'm so I just want to BUT..

....I guess I can ride top down now and enjoy this beautiful weather that I've been missing while I had the hardtop.... :

Depending on your insurance policy, it may or may not cover it, and it may or may not be worth filing the claim in the first place. If the window is shattered or broken through, I don't see how it could be repaired. If there are minor cracks / chips, it could possibly be filled in.

I'd suggest trying to get multiple quotes from auto glass suppliers / repair shops and see how they compare.

Dude. Sounds like you've got some real pricks in your neighborhood. Is anyone else experiencing this around you?

I'd be spending a few sleepless nights watching and waiting after it gets fixed.

I've been talking to many auto glass shops and aparently NO ONE will install the glass piece for me. You can purchase the rear glass only from the dealership but no one in the area will do the labor. If anyone knows anything let me know... I really need it done before I leave for vacation.... thanks again guys.
