It's a really fast (for the $$$) factory-tuned Dodge Neon.

What's sad about it? Is it sad that Dodge saw a market segment and created an affordable entry into that market? Don't we laugh at Boxster and Z3/4 owners for spending the money they do and losing to us in C&D shoot-outs?

True but, it may be interesting to see how they hold-up long term.

And resale value is a whole nuther story compared to our Hondas I would imagine.

I raced one when i first got the car and couldnt launch very well... He never had a chance and i pulled on him through every gear. He was bone stock and probably couldnt drive, but i wasnt impressed. Plus there ugly, and its still a neon.

And I'm sure the Boxster owners say that about us, "just a Honda!"

I like it, just give Dodge a few years to tweak it a little.

John, you're exactly right. I still don't understand the big damn deal about owning a Honda in general. People talk about how it's about philosophy and all that crap. The S2000 IS quite a mechanical achievement, but c'mon guys, it's not the only car on the road.

Folks, you can't be elitists if you're driving a Honda.
