Don't know how true this is. (I found it on dragva.) But on the way to work today, on 66 from 234 Manassas to Nutley Street exit, I saw about 9 cars pulled over and at least three other cops on waiting on the medians. So, please be careful.

Smooth Operator is in affect this week, which means the police will be handing out traffic tickets as if they were candy. Areas in particular to watch out for are Rt. 28 between Manassas and Sterling, the FFX Co/Franconia Pkwy, PWC pkwy, and 66/495.

There were police running lidar already this evening on 28 in Centreville.

I hate Fairfax County! I need to move to another state, maybe where cops don't care more about writing tickets than their primary job function, protect and serve. How about doing some good by patrolling neighborhoods to help decrease robberies and look for prowlers instead of hanging out on major highways hassling people.
