Im moving to the Richmond/Fort lee area in March, im hoping some local members can steer me in the right direction of things to look forward to.

I have a few questions so any members feel free to jump in:

Im looking for apartments as we speak, ill be working out of Fort lee but want a good area to live in, any suggestions? I’m thinking the shockhoe bottom area in Richmond. Any opinions on the area?

What are some good hang out areas (bars/clubs)? Any local gatherings (cars)?


Last but not least, I need a good reference for a tuner of emanage ultimate around the area for a FI S2000. Ill be doing a build as soon as I move there and will be loosing most of my connections.... I will not know anyone.

in richmond, theres the short pump area. its basically a huge 2 story mall with no roof. lots of high dollar bars to go to in that area. i hear bar louie is pretty good. i cant comment on the car scene up there but if youre willing to travel 40 minutes to hampton there is ALWAYS a car gathering at bass pro shop. you have your typical ricers come out but the majority of the cars there (domestics and import alike) are pretty damn good.

 

Sweet, I Plan on driving through the hampton area for sure, on the way to VA beach

 

theres a big s2k group down here in sova. we get together on a weekly basis.
