I don't have a clear bra installed on my car but my friend got it on his new G35 sedan and i have to say it seems pretty good. I also had the opportunity to see an S2000 from NJ with it who's had it for a while now and it still looks great. The line of the clear bra (which goes up to about... a foot to a foot and a half into the hood) is not very noticable in the sun. At first glance i couldn't even see the line and he had to point it out to me. In the shade it can be seen a bit better, but again at that time i was looking for it. My feelings are that unless somebody is actually standing next to your car trying to find a clear bra then that somebody won't ever notice it. And it does well in protecting the car.

I got a clear bar on Ebay for $180 shipped (bumper, fenders, hood and side mirrors) and installed it myself. It took about six hours including prep work. It's doable, especially if you're not looking for perfection. The bumper's the only hard piece to install (around severe curves). I also didn't do the side mirrors.
