Default Help - Seat Belt Electrical Connector!

I'm working on the roll bar install but I can't get the freakin' electrcal connector for the seat belt harness undone. It's the one connected to the retractor. Any help would be appreciated.

I think its this style of connector:

If not, take a picture. I can't remember off hand what it looks like.

Thanks Mopar,

That is the connector. I finally got it--I wasn't pushing down the locking collar enough to release the latch.

I got the crossmember out and the roll bar in with the two 10mm bolts holding it in place. I've adjusted it for clearance on both sides and I'm ready to start drilling and grinding tomorrow. I've got to fly tomorrow evening so I know I won't get it finished until I get back next week. But I've got to get it back together for next week's FATT.

Thanks Mani,

I'll need it. I got all the holes drilled and the aft backing plates on but I still have to grind out the front backing plate holes. I'm leaving the crossmember and all the trim out so there won't be a whole lot of reassembly to do, just install the harnesses and lower the driver seat a little before this friday's FATT. Anyone going to be there for the Shenandoah Circuit FATT?

I don't have a car right now or else I'd try to get in on standby. Good luck finishing the bar install, Rob.

I hope to be running the following weekend on the main circuit with NASA.

Skip,

Started grinding this morning. Now I know why you were wearing a long sleeve shirt and pants for the roll bar install!
