My guess is that it is the real deal. People think JDM stuff is perfect, but have you seen the flaws in real Spoon air ducts for example? The fake spoon intakes have better CF weave quality.
I guess... Got a reply from the seller:

[QUOTE]I will speak with A&J Racing (THE MANUFACTURERS OF THE T1R PRODUCT LINE)
tomorrow in regards to this issue.

Sounds like good news man. Sounds like it's the real deal, just not the best welding quality.

If it's not pretty enough, create a FS: thread and I'll :aaron: it. Otherwise, I'm sure it will do its intended function just fine.

Good news so far. I feel sorry for doubting the seller's integrity, though. Anyway, still waiting for him to get back to me for the hardwares.

e3opian: PM sent.

I have the T1R bar and it looks a little better than you'res IIRC. I'll try to get pictures.

BTW, I like the bar and feel it stiffens the front end up nicely (i.e. less roll in the front)

At this point, I am willing to accept my STB is one of the production anomallies. Got a reply from Ben at AJ Racing:
Hi Robert,

Hybrid Racing is one of our dealer and all the T1R parts that he sold are all legit. He mentioned the problem to me already and the mistake is made by my ex-staff so what I will do it, I will send you the hardware and the sticker to you tomorrow.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks
Ben
Also got a reply from Hybrid Racing:
[QUOTE]Robert,

The missing parts and the sticker will be sent to you directly from A&J
Racing.

That's nice. Do you feel any understeer once the bar is installed? I am thinking combined with this vertical x-bar and the x-brace underneath, my front-end is going to be too stiff. Regardless what other people are saying, I think the X-Brace does make a difference in the car's handling.

Well, my reason (more like excuse) to get an adjustable sway bar in the back. hehe
