Default Hey folks.

Hey guys,
I am I new S2000 owner myself as of about a month ago; thought I would sign up here when I ran across it in a web search. Anyhow, I ended up buying my SK2 after I traded my WRX in for an STi in July. Then I found out that the STi really wasn't to my taste and the seats really weren't good for me. Thought I would pick up an SK2 because I was looking at them before, and boy I can say it was the best idea in the world. No one ever believes that I love my S2000 more then the STi, but if I had even known how great the SK2 was I would have never bought that blasted STi.
Anyhow I thought I would throw a question at ya guys. About two days ago my S2K started making a squeaking/rattle metallic-ish type noise that comes from somewhere in the rear. I can't for the life of me figure out where it is coming from and it is driving me completely insane. Have any of you guys experienced this?

Thanks.
Dan

Good to be here.
I checked the spare, it's very secure in there. I didn't actually take it out though, maybe I'll go ahead and take it out.

Welcome to the Club!!! On the squeaking sound -- the owner's manual says when the brake pads need replacement, they will make an audible noise. May want to check the brake pads. Happy driving!!!!

Hey I found the sound, I feel like a moron it was a twig stuck in the undernearth near the exhuast. My S2K is black on black. I bought it new, I was thinking about getting used and saving a few bucks, but sometimes people don't treat thier cars well and you never know what you end up with.
