Holiday Meet: Post your thoughts here...
Dave,
How about an S2000 tacky headlight tour? (hee hee)
The holiday light display tour is a cool idea, but I'm up for anything. I'm always looking for a good excuse to get a bunch of S2000s together.

Dave,
I am interested. I also have a buddy who is a professional photographer (you know carries those 30lb large format cameras around), he could do good pics real cheap if anyone is interested.

Thanks...
I'm still searching on the internet for upcoming "festival/light" type goings-on that are being planned. Of course, I'm kinda focusing on the Richmond & surrounding areas...but I encourage everyone to seek similar regional areas for your concentrated groups of owners. Perhaps something similar in NOVA/SOMD...and same for Hampton Roads folks???
I just think it would be great to have the tops down, trees/homes/buildings full of holiday lights, and the chance to enjoy hot cider and such sometime this holiday season.
One thing I want to follow up on for certain (besides a Tacky-Light tour kind of drive) is to see what plans develop this year for Colonial Williamsburg. That could very possibly be quite enjoyable as well. Again, gonna look more into that one

Virginia Beach has a huge set up of lights on the Boardwalk. I think it is about two miles long! It would certainly be different if all the S2000's went down the Boardwalk at the same time. BTW: this is the only time one can drive down the boardwalk without blue lights circling the roof.
Oh yeah - it starts right after Thanksgiving. If I remember correctly it costs about $7, but I do have a connection in this department (Dad)

I also forgot to mention that Norfolk has two lights festivals too. There is one in the Botanical gardens and another at NOB - where all the Atlantic Fleet is stationed. That one is really cool - you get to look at all the Battleships, Aircraft Carriers, and Submarines plus some lights! All the enlisted guys would certainly appreciate a line of S2000's
ing by!
If you've never seen the Botanical Gardens, that is something to see as well.
