Honda Zone Mgr. for Richmond, VA.
and then working with the Service Manager of your Honda store - he'll be the person to get the word to the Honda Service Rep.Our region's Service rep is a nice guy, so don't be afraid to go the route I'm posting. If you go another way, he could get ticked and not listen to you at all.
I've tried the Service Rep. route. They refuse to work with this problem. If I could talk to the Zone Mgr. it might help. After all I live in HIS territory and discussing my problem with the Service Rep. did not accomplish the correct response. I have been discussing the problem with all my relatives, also the people I work with, etc. they agree that the Service Rep. is not taking the correct approach. Ultimately, the Zone Mgr. might see that it Will affect sales in his Region...Some have volunteered that Toyota's reponse would have been positive....

The Zone Rep will ultimately side with the Service Manager. I don't believe you will be getting the results you are looking for by directly talking to the District Parts and Service Manager(DPSM). The DPSM will side with the Service Manager or direct you to customer service.
I have 5 Honda's in the driveway and garage. I have a 1972 air-cooled Z 600 coupe and the most recent purchase a S 2000. I have been a faithful, loyal Honda person since 1979. I bought my my first Honda new in 1979. I also own a SUV.
The problem I am expericing is a repertous problem that is well documented. Honda has spent $100,000 of dollars on this problem in the last few years.
I realize Honda monititers these "blogs" and I'm reluctant to spell it out because I think they will be offended....
They will not furnish me the Zone Mgr.'s name and number.
That is a very major mistake because of the number of Honda's I have owned and sold to relatives and aquaintences in the past because of my mechanical apptitude and credability.
It will never be the same.
Just last week a person I work with asked me about purchasing a mini van. I recommended the Toyota Senna. They haven't had Transmission problems!!!!
Does anyone have the backbone to give me a name and phone number.
I am recommending Toyota....In the intertrium
