Hood Venting
It may not seem like much but getting all that heat away from your engine will give you more useable power a cleaner more crisp throttle response and potentially better mpg.
I haven't been able to properly test this aspect because when you hit vtec the engine now screams so loud it's instant gratification truly an awesome sound

I couldn't think of any negatives other than possible rusting of non aluminum parts but it's cheap to change over to aluminum or ss to avoid that entirely
As far as rain the entire underhood area gets wet when you drive in the rain anyway
Very cool pictures on the step-by-step. I'm in the 180-240 price range I think sounded far ~$30-40 an hour?
We can always be SUPER KOOOOL and just rock no hood like all of the Integraz and Civicz bois. (JK) Ugh such a stupid trend, and I thought it couldn't get worse

I'm assuming that for most of us this would be a purely cosmetic upgrade?
Any negatives/potential issues to having the vents? If not, I may be interested.

yes because nothing is full proof but I don't think the gains will be as significant as a ram air system or even an open oem
Just an update for those worried about rain I drove in this morning during a t storm and a fairly heavy rain and this is what my engine bay looks like immediately after arriving at work
almost completely dry what little water did go in the heat dried it up very quickly
