Default Horrible gas milage with a cooling package?

Since it started getting really cold out i've been getting horrible gas milage, I got 212 miles out of my last tank!! I have to drive my car for almost 30 min before I get to 3 bars!! I know its because of the mugen cooling package just want to see if anyone else running a cooling package having similar problems in this bitter cold?

Yep, physics is a harsh mistress. Cool air = good power, bad mileage. Warm air = bad power, good mileage.

Also, do the usual stuff like check your tire pressure, try not to buy the crappy winter gas, etc.

Yeah the cold will do that especially when it takes forever for the car to get up to temp. Until it gets warmed up you'll be dumping more fuel than the car really needs to to ensure you get a proper afr while the car is getting to temperature.

Yes really. My mileage has never been too great. I guess i'm too go-happy. I was only averaging between 22-25 mpg before i went turbo Now I average between 18-20mpg.

I do have a wideband, but I can't recall if it had arrived yet when the car was tuned. I am actually due to stop by ISP and get the tune tweaked a bit anyway, but i've been dragging ass since I want to get my test pipe and replacement wheel bearing first and have everything done at once.
