Default Hydroplaning

I'm still driving my 2001 with stock tires. A few weeks ago I tested the tire pressure and discovered all 4 tire at 25 psi. I put in the 32 psi recommended and now I swear I am hydroplaning on the roads. Is it me or should I let out some air? To add to the pressure, now we've had our first snow and ice. Would appreciate some advice.

well by now, with a 2001, if you're still driving with the original s02's, it's time for a replacement.

also, if you're going over 60mph in the rain, i'd recommend that you slow down.

my 2 pesos.

Dump those SO2's now before your car ends up in a dump. I'm speaking from experience, unfortunately.

I think Dunlop makes some good year round tires for the S2K. Less expensive than the SO2's and the tread life will last much longer. Obviously the downside is that you sacrifice better grip on hard cornering. Check out the Wheel & Tire forum and/or Jim at the Tire Rack for more information.

Drive slow in rain and don't attempt to drive in any snow (an inch of snow trapped me in my neighborhood!)
