Default Hyperfest

Like the title says, anyone going to Hyperfest this year? I'll be there, it has been fun in the past. I usually do a HPDE with my prelude but they said I would need an aftermarket roll bar for the s2k.

Its July 8th at Summit point,

Glad to see others are going.

I'll set up a caravan when it gets a little closer, probably a week or so before.

Bump for Hyper-fest tomorrow.

I didn't bother to set up a Caravan because I am probably going to go down a little later in the day. I'll mostly just go to see the Drifting since I can't do a HPDE this year.

George, I contacted the regional rep in Richmond before leaving for the Dragon. He claimed that so many tracks were starting to get to the point of requiring them that they, too, were requiring them. I was kinda irked because I know for a fact that an S2000 ran at VIR of all places this February without one.

He did say some exception may be made, but I'm pretty sure that such a large event as this one, no "free passes" will be issued. If I wasn't going to a meet in B'more Sunday, I'd go. The guys from Custom Car Care in Newport News will be there. I wanted to see Brady run.

The good news is that the Elda v2 will be available soon... very soon. One will have the option of ordering the bar with both the diagonal and harness bar being removable. This will pretty much be non-obtrusive, maintaining full operability of the center console/secret compartment. Seat travel will suffer only slightly.

I was told that I will have my bar in time to install it prior to the Honda Days Aug 12th in NJ.

I have been keeping an eye on the thread for that Rollbar and will probably end up getting one as well.
