Default I finally got the PINK SLIP.

to all,

Oh damn. It had to happen. I got laid off Teleglobe yesterday. The company was hugely in financial debt and had no choice but to go Chapter 11. Unfortunately, the Chantilly office got hit very hard. But I am not upset at all. We got 8 weeks of pay, vacation paid out and get to keep the laptop and 17" monitor. Anyway, i have enough money saved up to go for at least a year. During this time i will work on buidling my business <professional detailing, soon tinting to be added and some tuning only for BMW E46 series>. I have some big plans and hope i can achieve this during this 1 year grace period. I would like to thank those who has used my services.

Last but not least, it's so much better to wake up and not go to work with the traffic. So for all those who does not have a job - see it the other way around. U get to be ur own boss.

LIL RAJA

ps. anybody need a high tech Cisco/Juniper Guru ??? I am now available as on a consultant basis.

Damn.. you're lucky. When my company went outta business, I only got my vacation pay. No severance. But I did get to keep 2 computers, 2 Cisco routers, and a Cisco switch.

Good luck on your business!

Raja, sorry to hear that man, its great to see you are in good spirit afterall. I think I might be the next to post about losing my job and selling my car, what sucks for me is my savings had gone down the toilet along with the company stocks .... *sigh, oh well, after coming back from Taiwan, I have some new perspective on life and, if the unfortunate does happen, I will be devoting myself 110% into school, having a 9-5 job, my devotion as far as time is concerned, is pretty limited.

Yo Kai, Raja's work on his car and James and Perry's cars is fantastic man, Gregg loves his work, too dude ... You tinting your ride? 20%?

Yes welcome back Mike. My friend works at Wcom and they are facing some of the same financial problem my company already faced. Just keep ur fingers crossed. I am sure things will improve with the economy. I am planning on going back to finish Masters myself. this time around I don't want any distraction. Oh yeah, second day I woke up whenever I felt like and whichever side I wanted to. No one to answer. :-)

Gotta love the telecom companies in this area! Don't take to much time off though!

My roommate got laid off 11 months ago from WC, decided to take a break and is still unemployed.

Everything happens for a reason.....good luck with your own company!
