Default I knew it would happen sooner or later

Just like I predicted, my top finally got slashed. At my Job no less. Parked it on the far end bc I was getting ready to take the seats out and vacuum the car then I had to go to
the front counter to help out. I come back maybe 5 minutes later and find a nice thumb length jagged slit where the clamp is. It's not big, but if you know me, you know I'm going nuts. I bought this top brand new from Honda and it took me and 2 friends an solid 6 hours to put it in. I know I said I was gonna wait for my car to be paid off to get a hardtop but eff it. I gotta deal with this bs then I might as well do the damn thing. I hate working in the ghetto!

Really sorry to hear that, EJ.

You mentioned it's near the latch? Are you sure it's not the common tear from the top not folding properly?

It sounds like a tear that can occur on its own.

No good man. That kind of thing would bug the crap out of me too.

My top has the tear in the usual spot and I'm just waiting on it to get bad enough that it requires the top to be replaced. Then I'm going to just get a hardtop and take the soft top out.
