Default I need help with Spark plug gapping.

From what I heard, the s2k's gapping is at 0.44. I bought some Pulse star pulse plugs today, and the gap on the them is set to 0.45, I believe.

I need to lower it one more. How important is this?

Also, does anyone have a gapping tool I can borrow? I heard that since it is an Iridium tipped plug, I should not use the common, conventional coin gapping tool thing.

Help?

Gap is 0.039-0.044 I believe. I gapped my NGKs to 0.041. Why did you the Pulse ones?

You are not supposed to gap iridium plugs, they come pre gapped and are sold by application. the difference between .044 and .045 is minor and wont matter. Any plug that has a cardboard sleeve over the electrode when you take it out of the box is pre-gapped and should not be adjusted

iridium plugs usually have a slightly larger gap since the theory is that the iridium can "flow" more current you can get a bigger spark across the larger gap. Is this true? IDK but i slapped some iridiums in my bmw and it ran fine(no improvement)

For Subarus anyways, unless you get OEM iridiums you always have to re-gap them; as long as you're careful with the electrode then you will be fine.
