I've heard complaints that the S2000 trunk is too small, it's just not practical. Well I think it's time to dispel the myth. Size does count and the S2000 has the biggest trunk of the roadsters.

Are you part of a golf two-some?

How are you going to get two loaded golf bags and a pair of golf shoes to the course?

In the spacious S2000 trunk!

Although the weather is turning cold, suppose you want to take a top down trip to the beach for two...

You're going to need a cooler with wheels, blankets, change of clothes for the nightlife and other miscellaneous beach stuff.

Once again the S2000 is the answer.

Great pix!!

I kept telling my wife that the trunk was too small to get more than 1 or 2 bags when we went food shopping (worked for a while). Then one time we got like 8 or 10 bags of groceries and I thought she's going to have to sit with a couple on her lap. The trunk just swallowed them up. The only problem is now I have no excuse (somehow, it just doesn't seem right to carry groceries in the S).

It's bigger than it looks!

Terrific pics!! The S2000's trunk is bigger and more useful than most people think .

When I had the '00 S2K, I stuffed the trunk with a big bag of mulch, a large bag of wood nuggets, a shovel (in the passenger compartment with my fiance holding it in the passenger seat), and grass seed - all at once!

Has anyone been able to get two golf bags in the trunk with a subwoofer? Either JL Stealth mount or Tool Bin mount?

I too have been very pleased with the S2K's trunk compartment. One thing to always be weary of, however, is that the bowed hinges need to have clearance to close properly. If you force the trunk closed with resistance pressing against one or both hinges, you chance "springing" the hinges and altering the fitment of the trunk dramatically. Always close slowly when fully packed...readjust as necessary (Lord that sounded awful!!!)

How about that.... The Sun is out, the outside temp has risen to almost pleasant and a thread about packing golf clubs in the trunk is resurrected!

S2K_Wanted2: I need all of the left and right side room in the trunk to get the golf bags in. So the side mounted subs would probably get in the way. There is room between the golf bags and the top of the tool bin, so it may be possible to fit both bags even with a tool bin mounted sub.

w1ngman - I hear you about the hinges, soft squishy luggage is the best, especially when fully packed ...

Yeah the weather here is nice today. I might have to hit the driving range.

Well that's exactly what I needed to know, Thanks guys. I'll go with some sort of trunk well mounted sub. Hopefully it will sit at around the same level as the tool bin. Still need to be able to get golf cleats in the trunk somewhere.

So FF2Skip, in the setup you have, the tool bin has been replaced by the sub AND it sits the same height as the tool bin? That sounds like what I want. I guess that's a 10 inch sub, how much was it?

Do you have an amp for your other speakers? If I do get rear speakers I wanted to power them off of the same amp as the Front speakers. Someone had mentioned to power them off of the head unit, but I have rear speakers setup right now like that on my Integra and I never hear them, so I would rather spend the money on the amp and door speakers.
