I love the 08 Sti's. My wife and I were looking at them for a few weeks. Even drove a couple and nearly pulled the trigger on one w/BBS+Navi. I just couldn't get over the fact that they're just so damn boring to drive. I'd still love to have one, I just can't see myself getting rid of the S2000 to have one, which is what we would have to do.

A lot of people knock it down for looking like a station wagon or mini-van, but I think the car is absolutely awesome looking. Extremely aggressive in every way. If we had the money, I'd definitely love to have both. We actually looked at the Evo X first, but strayed away from it, due to it being so awkward and 'cheap'.

Anyways, enjoy the Sti!!

This is the first time I've seen that new STI...not sure how I missed that...no more STI sport sedan?! It's a beast but I would have to guess that 99% of people who see it on the road mistake it for a mazda 3 hatch or some crossover suv.

Wow, you hit the nail on the head right there. They are pretty boring to drive, the s2000 is amazing in that respect, its like pure butter around banked turns or on a lonely back road. You would miss that...

The station wagon thing and the mazda 3 thing doesn't really bother me, driving an 05sti and then a rio yellow s2000 I got a lot of unwanted attention and perceptions. I'm in my mid twenties so I'm passed the whole kid racer thing. Plus, I don't want to be followed around by some ricers like I used too...in my blacked out 05sti I'd have freaking Dom from F&F following me around trying to race me or take pictures of my car it was really annoying.

TQ and Power is great on the STI but it definetly feels numb and huge compared to the s2000. A combo of the cars would be a dream come true because the 08STI has so much utility but the s2000 has such a great driver and road relationship. I was going to get an Evo X MR, but have you seen the trunk in that car? Its a complete joke plus its a pig and not 6-spd

Yep, the trunk in the Evo X was a joke. We both laughed when we looked at it.

Even the back seat space is a joke. The Sti is just an overall better car.
