Default Import Shootout at Capitol Raceway

Anybody gonna attend this one?

I think Imma just enter for the car show. Might as well, entrance fee is $15, and fee for entering car show is only $5 more dollars. The whole thing will probably be wack, but I got nothing else to do on Sunday.

Oh that sounds great! One of the racing classes is for stock 4 cylinders (Mod 4). I bet the Stook's would clean up. It's really hard to read, but it looks like you can have bolt on mods, bot no engine mods. I wonder if this means intakes and exhausts are ok?

Supra TT's, RX-7's and 300ZX TT's commonly run in a class called Pro6 which is for motors w/ "power boosters" like turbos, SC's and nitrous.

As for the S2000 running in Mod4, let me give you a little warning....unless you can run a 13.3-13.5 you're probably not going to win. There are some hella fast naturally aspirated Integras and Neon's that show for these things that will commonly put an S2000 to shame.

If you've never dragged before and don't mind ripping up your clutch, go ahead. It's fun as hell, but be forewarned that you probably won't be coming home w/ the purse and trophy.
