Default The infestation has begun!!

Well I arrive home tonight at around 1am and what do I see on the walls of my house?? The beginning of the once every 17 years infestation. I grabbed my camera and snapped some cool photos of the cicadas emerging from there wingless state.

I personally dont mind these things and I remember back when I was 10 years old when they came out then. They are everywhere!! 1.5 million per acre they say. My dogs eat them like chicken nuggets!
What do you guys think of them?

great pics.
I like them, and remember playing with them when I was young back home in Korea.

I know my girl can't stand it and she's already concerned, but I'm looking forward to it (prolly only one).

yesterday morning i woke up to go to work and walked down into my garage. got in my car and guess who was sitting in my passenger seat...yeap little bug eyed bitch stared rite at me and let out a freaky sound, so i looked back at him and said no free rides slut, flicked him out and stepped on him.

I plan on investing in a good tennis raquet for the summer....

i remembered them when i was younger. wow. every 17 years? Did anyone else collect those exoskeletons? they were really cool. almost like the real bug themselves.

Haven't seen any down here, but I'm going to go check the back yard now.

Haven't seen any yet down here either, but I remember them growing up in NoVA like it was yesterday. I was in the 7th grade and they were everywhere, flying into the school and the car, etc.
