Default Inline pro Stroker motor

Does anyone have an opinion about the inlinepro 2.5 stroke motor. Are there anyother shops around that offer a great built short block

I drove one around the block with John... I absolutely loved it. Skip has it too and could give better insight as I only had about 10 minutes in it.

As Aaron said, ff2skip (Skip) has the 2.5L Stroker in his car. I know that he has mentioned it is nowhere near as powerful as his last supercharger setup, however if I'm not mistaken he is happy with it.

I'm rather certain that he will be happy to discuss his likes and dislikes with the kit!

Ain't no way I'm typing all my thoughts on the 2.5L. If you want to PM me, we can set up a time to talk.

It has proven to be well built and makes me look good on the track. We pulled the rod bearings after a couple of events to see if there was any wear- there was none. Again, most of its life has seen track miles. Normally, this would accelerate wear.

I welcomed an unforeseen(on my part) side effect- the engine is not as "peaky" in sound. It has a lower pitch at redline than its 2.0L counterpart due to the increased displacement.

I have every confidence in Jeremy's build. Brian has treaked the tune to really fit my driving needs. John and Ya have always taken time to explain things to me. I have zero problem recommending them.

2.7L requires cams. Currently there is no cam set available readily. The 2.5L can use the stock head, but would definitely benefit from cams, too.

Skip, PM me your #... I'd like to talk to you about this and get your thoughts on a few similar ideas. I'm at 100k+ miles and I think she's ready for a little TLC in the engine dept.
