Default Installed lip and modded exhaust

I ordered the OEM lip from some Honda dealership in GA or something. It came 2 days later, painted, all the hardware, PERFECT condition.

So this morning i couldn't sleep so I installed it at about 9am. Installation was soooo easy, everything lines up perfect and I had no problems.

Some pics to show off ..................

Preparing for the install. My driveway is on a slant and if i park it just right it gives me some room to get under the bumper.

Me workin, it was coooold.

All done.

Everything lines up perfect, gotta love OEM parts.

More pics.....

Had to see if I could clear speed bumps in the neighborhood.

My HKS exhaust that I bought used, developed a rattle in the resonator so I decided to cut everything off and make it a straight pipe through.

My friend John cutting the resonator...

Measure to see how much pipe is needed.

The new piece looks pretty nice

We cut off the oval piece in the back of the exhaust as well. The sound of the exhaust changed noticably and now is much deeper and sound more like the Invidia. I kinda like the new sound, its more aggresive and very mean at WOT. I call it the "HKvidia"

A pic of my VAFC mounted in the heater vent and velcrowed to the gauges.

Thats all I have for today, hope you guys like the pics. They were all taken with my phone so the quality is not that great but you can definetly make out what is what.

A lot deeper and now has this little "turbo sound" as i call it from 5-6k. Can't really describe it, but i'm sure you will see me at one of the meets sometime soon.

It was quiet before but rattled, now its LOUD but doesn't rattle.

But what if you like sanding, painting, riveting, realigning, molding, and all the other good stuff that comes with aftermarket parts? I know I do

Looking forward to hearing that exhaust!
