Default which intake?

im looking to get a cai for my s2k. ive narrowed it down to aem v2 or injen, but not sure which route i should take. v2 seems to be more popular, but which performs better? and if you know anyone selling one that would be clutch too.

It really doesn't matter. If I had to choose between those two ... then I would go with the cheapest.

Have you ever driven without the lid on your stock intake box?

AEM V2 has the best design (I started a thread about the physics behind intakes and the general consesus was AEM V2 had the best design) but you run a real chance of hydrolocking your engine. Is 4-5hp (max) worth it? You can get nearly the same throttle response from a Comptech (also a very sound design) without the risk.

I am taking my car to evolution tomorrow to get my Vortech SC put on, so i no longer need my AEM v2. My car is a 2001. Make me an offer and its yours. I may also be parting ways with my spoon strut brace if that no longer fits.

I'm looking for a Spoon strut brace....do you still have it and are you willing to get rid of it?
