It is an Ipod connection cable. Plugs into the stock 6 disc cd changer port and you plug the ipod in the other end.

I got an auxiliary input adapter from ebay, it was $48 shipped and took 15sec to install.

It plugs into where your stock CD changer would and you just hit mode and it can plug into anything, laptop, ipod, cell phone... It's pretty neat hearing your voice mail through your speakers.

I dont have a 6 disc changer so how would it work then....

your factory radio comes equipt with the port already once you remove your headunit you will see it on the rear.

on models that ive installed you have the choice to either use your ipod as a changer(toggling your playlist as if they were cd's) or direct mode (switch it to cd changer mode and control everything thru your ipod)
