Default It's Red, It's Here, and It's Mine

..can't quite believe it yet either.
I got up at 5 this morning to check out our '02 New Formula Red -- what a beautiful car.
I've been lurking on this site for three months and have learned a lot of valuable information. I've also come to regard the posters as friends, and it's a real kick to be one of you now.
Props to our dealer: Sport Honda in Silver Spring has so far been great. We got the car at $1000 below MSRP, and our salesperson Mike Hein was a real gentleman. No lies, no surprises, no pressure. He comes highly recommended.
Service department is clean; Steve the service manager seems like he's got it together. They're also hooking us up with free oil changes for as long as we own the car.
Odometer reads 101 miles -- the wait begins!

Hey VA S2k,
My wife was pushing for a Spa. We both loved the one Honda used for the Washington Auto Show. Truth be told, I started out wanting White, but 1) they're rare around here and 2) that new Red interior is REALLY Red.
...But they all look good, don't they?

if you are interested in a white s2000, come down to west broad honda. i am sure by the time you come down, the one i traded in would be out of the body shop after they destroyed the left fender and front bumper. Maybe they will give you a good deal on it.

The reason the GP White is so rare is that it is the best color. Look at the S2Ki banner afterall! Honda wants to keep those numbers down and will only sell GP White to the discriminating customer. It's in your Owner's Manual! You did read the manual, didn't you? I think it's under the chapter heading: "Grand Prix White - The Best Color".

dkhl didn't really want to trade his, he told me in a PM that they forced him to trade it and buy the Blue and then to donate his bone marrow. That's part of the deal too. Check the Owner's manual.

Congratulations on the new car and welcome to the board! The S2000 looks good in all of the factory colors, but you picked the best color because RED is the fastest!

Welcome! This site is definitely a resource and I am glad to see that it served you well. I am also glad to hear that you had a great experience at Sport Honda. Perhaps we can elevate them to the coveted "Jim Coleman" level

You must join us on some of our upcoming events.

If your're at all wondering about what you should be doing with the car, my adivce is to break it in properly and get it on the track as soon as possible to learn its (and your) potential.

Again, welcome and congratulations
