i totally agree with how we made it seem that we are separated from u all. maybe we could have had a better choice of words for our upcomming meets, or in our threads.

but how can u all say this is a community? to bash another group becuase we are actually doing something and not just sitting on our buts and posting all day.
u say we should have done things to make our group known, how long has it been since team apx was started?? u expect us to do charity work or other things so soon?

we are in nova, greg hasnt even been on the forums for a year yet, but he stepped up to the plate and tried to orginize something unlike some.
i just thought it was very childish of yall to bash and have no faith in us and just say we are gonna die in the end. WTF!!!!

mid a was so unorginized until team apx came along. random ppl came to our mod day and it was great! we did not outcast anyone.

team apx did things for me that mid a has never done. and never will

i consider em family now. but the rest of mid a who has negative opinions on us. not so much.

Fine. But you're just going to have to do it on someone else's bandwidth and watch. I stood silent for a bit and even supported you guys for a bit despite not agreeing with the mess to begin with because the good intention was there. However, it didn't take very much time to discover that this experiment wasn't going to work.

That's the only line I'll quote and respond to directly as I really hope you'll revise the rest of your statements so as to not blanket all of the folks that have been around a while into one group.

I never thought what you guys were doing was wrong, I just didn't agree with it occurring under a sub-heading as if you were too different or too ashamed to do it under the Mid-Atlantic name. (Just a stab at the reasoning as I really don't know...)
My negative opinions, not that I need to justify them, are limited to the need to separate yourselves. I just don't understand it. What Greg was doing was great and admirable as an organizer and a leader -- I just wish that there had not been a decision to divide.

As far as the CO's needing to step up to the plate goes... I can say that Jeff, Brian, and Bill do a LOT for us -- more than you may know in your locale. From what I gathered you guys were mostly based out of NoVA -- the area that I am responsible for... I'm new -- cut me a little slack would ya? I'm responsible for this area as of only a few weeks ago. I'm still trying to get my bearings and a plan sorted out. Hopefully in the coming months I can change any negative opinion you may have for CO of this area.

I hold no ill feelings toward anyone and I hope in time you can understand why this wasn't going to work out here. You guys are perfectly welcome to start a site, move to Facebook -- whatever... it just was not going to work here.

I'm going to stop here because I'm drunk and it's been a shit week even without all this. I'll leave you with this -- we're all here because of the car. We may not all share enough other similarities to be best buds but it's ok. However, this is Mid-Atlantic S2Ki and it will remain that way. Any other organizational entity needs to conduct their business outside of these doors.

I know how you feel Artin...when I stepped up to create our thread, I wasn't even originally the one who created the team...it was Abdul and Tom. Unfortunately Tom sold his S2k and didn't stick with us...then Allan came around a proclaimed himself the "head-mother-fucker-in-charge" and then when...as he said "shit just hit the fan" he stepped down and said nothing to defend us...yes Allan thats how I feel, I'm sorry...

I was the one who tried to organize ALL the meets basically and take charge in EVERYTHING and I did it happily...until some people just didnt leave our thread alone and started creating the so-called "drama" you're mentioning Airgate...

Then...people all of a sudden started throwing crap our way...for what reason??
We've been standing about a month and a half...so far we made a BBQ and a Mod-Day that was open for EVERYONE...we offered EVERYBODY to join and be a part of a smaller community INSIDE this big community.

I EVEN TOOK THE NEXT STEP...talked to **TOPDOWN** in SoCal and they DID give us the permission to change our name and open a Mid-A TOPDOWN chapter because they liked how we started looking, etc. Well, the guys decided to stay APX for a reason. We ARE unique and we are different...

But I see where everything was going...some people just can't let it go and won't let us have OUR fun...you're forgetting one thing. We are paying members of this forum as well and never harmed anyone with our actions, or put a bad name out there on the Mid-A S2Ki community...

The people hating on us the last couple days, I hope you guys can see us one day in person...just to prove to you how badly you misunderstood what we were trying to create...

APX is still going to live, just not on these threads and forums...

Thank you guys for destroying other people's opportunities for an easier communication and joining possibilities with such amazing people as Artin, Abdul, Brian, Neil...etc. We'll still be around...if I don't get banned for this post...and try to prove ya'll wrong...
