Cool k20 in crx

Ok so i have been throwing around ideas for my crx and i think i might try and put a k20a in it. Saw on youtube bone stock motor just intake exhaust and kpro in a crx with slicks running like mid 11's. So it might be time to pull my LS/Vtec Dose anyone know of someone selling a k20 if so let me know.

so the k20a? thats ganna run u like 7k just for the motor. then you gotta buy the mounts and cut your old ones out and weld your new ones in and do the shift linkage box, custom axles. I did k24/k20-t in my 2000 civic 4dr and it ended up costing me around 13k just for necessary motor work and install. you gotta keep in mind that nothing just switches over like you do when you go from D => B. everything is custom. Thats why its so expensive. But its crazy fast.

Also its not so expensive to build the motor. It cost me less money to build the motor then it did to install the motor. I paid about $4800 in parts and labor to build it then another $5k for the turbo kit/k-pro/tune for two maps. If you got the money, then go for it. But remember in the end its still a civic, you still wont get any respect from anyone b/c of the rep that civics have... even if you make 600whp.

Yea but the car comes off the road the last day of aug and dont get tagged again till jan. So i have time. Working two jobs for the money. Have all the tools to do most of the work my self and my step moms brother just moved down here from NY where he had a shop and he has put 3 k's in crx's so i would also have help. The next time my crx hits the streets it will have historic tags dont have to pass md inspect or emissions.

Negative: The K20a is the Integra Type R from Japan
K20a2 is the RSX-S in the US
K20a3 is the RSX in the us
K20z3 is the Civic Si in the US

Going to set you back about 5-6k just for the motor and trans. Definitely an expensive swap especially if you are going to pay a shop to do it.

There are plenty of sites out there selling the motors, you might try the local classifieds on honda-tech
