Default Karting this Saturday!! (1/19)

Okay - the more adventurous of us are going to PTG this saturday to see what some of the BMW racing folks are up to:

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...&threadid=40662

Sorry if you wanted to come and it was full - I look forward to seeing you at future events. In any case, a bunch of us are going Karting on Saturday afternoon. For those of you who can't make it to PTG, perhaps you can meet us right at the Karting place. Since we're coming from Winchester after lunch, I assume that we can be there around 3 - 3:30.

Any takers? What do I have to bring to go karting, my shoes & helmet?

Shoes aren't really necessary but if you want to avoid head lice bring your helmet...

Just kidding on the head lice part but it's nice not to feel some other guy/gals sweaty brown mixing w/ your own.

I'm in too. Look forward to meeting some of you guys for the first time. I am a novice so I guess I will be wearing the lice helmet.

I'll be there as well for the PTG/BMW thing. I probably won't be driving the S2K though, as they are calling for rain/sleet/snow all day down here.

See you guys tomorrow!

where do you guys go karting? I'll be visiting my brother in centreville, who lives right at 28 and 66. I think I once read that you guys Kart somewhere near Dulles, which I'm pretty sure is down the right around the corner... anyway, if someone can get back to me, I'd appreciate it, as I'm leaving at noon today to head up there.

I'm concerned about the weather tomorrow - I may be getting a ride with someone else and not drive the S. Doesn't look good on weather.com. Looks like it will be snowing all day in Winchester.

quicksvr, i am not very familiar with VA, but here is the direction we take to get there from MD.

495 - Dulles Toll Rd. - exit 9 (towards Sterling), Right on Nokes Rd, Right on Cascade Pkwy, Right on Maries Rd. and take the last left turn, you will see the front entrance.
