Default A little help

Alright im new to s2000's and i drove my first one the other day and feel in love. I am located near VA beach and The car i drove was a 2000 GPW with 42000 miles and im really intrested in it and had some questions for yall. Where would you all take the car to get checked out that would do a good job, i was thinking honda because duh its honda but wasnt sure if there were better shops or not. And also does anyone know how much it would cost to get all the fluids change in the car at honda or another shop like the trans, diff fluids and the oil and such if i get the car.

Thanks Chris

Correct IMO. I belive it can cost anywhere between 80-100 for the trans. Where is the car at a side lot or something?

No, its a private sale just happened to stumble upon it. Looked at it and its in great shape but like i said dont know everything about the S. Ive have looked at a bunch of threads and all the questions and suggestions and such and searched and did alot of reading. Just want to have someone check the car over that can actually take a look under it and know what they are looking for and check stuff. I have some mechanical background but never hurts for a second opinion.

Shad and Dan at Accuracy Automotive have my vote as well. They probably wont charge much to look a vehicle over for you.

You mention that you are new to S2000s, you may want to read up a bit on the differences in the model years prior to pulling the trigger. There were quite a few things refined over the years on the AP1's. A number of TSB's should have been performed. Does the owner have any record of those? I am in no way trying to talk you out of it. A MY00 GPW with low miles is a great find! Just a few things to take into consideration is all.
