Default Little S2000 Paint Action

Hello everyone,

Here's a little s2k I've been working on. I wanted to share, since it's been a while.

Some quarter panel work along with a new fender and hood.

Test fitting the headlight to the new fender.

Wet sanding has begun.

Feathering all the edges.

Scuffing for better adhesion and cleaner panels. Messy work!

Soap and wash everything from wet sanding.

My daily work horse is peeking in

Almost ready.

Tada!!

No more faded nasty yellow headlights.

Looks great! What do you use to wash the car before paint and after sanding and polishing, did you clear coat those lenses?

I don't remember the exact name of the product but it's just soap without wax. Wax based soaps are a big NO in the shop. Will cause issues in the paint, such as fish eyes. Lenses where primered with plastic prep primer and clear-coated. No need for polishing.
