Default Local '04 pricing

I am wondering if anybody have gotten a better or same deal for an '04 S2K as the one that Lou offered (Honda of Joliet) for $31,590. I am ready to buy an '04 S2K but rather buy locally if a dealership can match or beat the price from Honda of Joliet.

Thanks..................

I'm not sure how close you are to Norfolk, VA but we can do something for you! Being almost 11:00 PM right now, I'm not at work, but if you want to take a look PM me tomorrow.

The next available one we will have is Silverstone with the new Red/Black. It is being built as I type! I am at Checkered Flag Honda - http://www.checkeredflag.com

Just heard from Alex from Checkered Flag and he had given me a great deal for the '04 S2K. Just passing along feedback for a good and quick to response salesperson.

How close are you to Jim Coleman Honda? Or Ganley Honda (they're closer than Chicago). PM AndyP (Jim Coleman) and Hardtopguy. Both have excellent sales AND service. CF has a good sales department, but their service department is piss poor (and that's being kind). This is not comming from one disgruntled customer, I can link you to threads in which the topic is discussed and people other than myself take issue with their service department.

Thanks for the vos2k!

tenblade - he is not going to be using your favorite service department - he lives in Maryland. I hate to have to say this, but I wish this flaming would stop!

I have made personal efforts to improve things in our service department for S2000 customers. I hope you already know that I will do everything in my power to take care of you too.

Alex,
You're a cool guy and I have no beef with you. I do have a beef with the company and the flames will not stop. Please don't make this a personal issue. You taken steps, but I have not recieved ONE phone call from CF regarding my complaints, not even a form letter. Again, this is buisness and not aimed at you or Matt. However, I was dead serious when I stated that I would do EVERYTHING I could to steer people away from CF.....maybe then they'll listen and make changes. Untill then, its empty talk.

personal this is steve...

this is a customer looking to BUY a car, not have one serviced. i can understand if vos2k was looking for service departments in mid-atlantic.

alex has to take this personal. his family founded and owns this company. thats why he has gone the lengths that he has to make this a better place for an s2000 owner.

im not saying you dont have the right to complain, but i am saying that you dont have the right to kill a SALE due to a problem that you have had in service.

remember... your problem is with service. if this gentleman is looking for a good deal and a good experience from the SALES floor. WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU NOT, WANT TO HELP YOUR FRIENDS OUT!?!

keeping a customer from purchasing a car here because of your service issue is just wrong.

you are a friend of mine and it hurts alittle to see you bashing what me and alex do for a customer.

Steve,

I have had to step away from my computer after every single one of your posts. I can understand that you are frustrated - things like these are going to happen in life.

I also understand the purpose of S2Ki.com, and you are certainly free to say whatever you wish. I know you do not want any of this to become a personal matter and I am one to try to separate business from personal, but unfortunately I cannot when it is my personal income that is being affected. I think you'll find Matt feels the same way.

I did not join S2Ki to debate the issues of my Honda service department. Yes, that is what brought this site to my attention, but I joined to make friends.

I value your opinion Steve - shoot we're both going to have twins for cars! I do want to hang out at meets and any local get togethers - I hope you and April make it out this Sunday!

Unfortunately you will find my personal attitude change for the worse if this continues. If I tried my hardest to blatantly steer any income away from you, would you not feel the same way? I am also one to forgive and forget. I have offered to personally aid you in any services you ever have here at Checkered Flag - if you ever do decide to give us another chance. I do hope that you look at my friendship as the letter of apology you want.

If we can bury this hatchet and plead the fifth, I would feel a whole lot better about being your friend in the future.

Alex
