Default Local bands shows

i have been going to local band shows for a while now, just seeing if anyone else goes out too, maybe it would be a good place for a get together. This saturday Match 11, The Speaks are playing at TT Reynolds in fairfax, if you dont know who the speaks are they opened last years DC 101 chili cookoff. and april 15 my brothers band is playing a show at jaxx in springfield with buckcherry. Anyone interested?

I go to a lot of shows. Not too many locals though... Hip-Hop/Punk/Hardcore/Metal anything along those lines. Mostly at 9:30 club, The Ottobar in Baltimore, Sonar in Baltimore.. and occasionally Nation in DC has a good punk show.

The band I've been seeing lately is called Quasimodo...they are pretty good (www.quasimodoband.com). I usually go to see them at Sunset Grille in Annandale. Saw them last weekend and they'll be there next on May 5. Fun!

the speaks are alternative, but its hard to say with cockfarm. Their sound is just very different, but if i had to classify them it would be punk. www.cockfarm.net

It makes me chuckle inside in the same way when grown people say "poop".

The Col. is cool but does not look very healthy. I'm trying to see him as often as possible because I think he will soon be playing in a band with John Lenon and Jimi Hendrix.

Doors open at 7, I'll be there around 9:00.
