Default Local shop to resurface flywheel?

Hey I'm in silver spring, MD, and was wondering if there are any local shops that can do a good job at resurfacing a flywheel. If you have any recommendations, please let me know. Thanks!

Steven

You do not want to resurface your flywheel! The Honda flywheels are ver hard. All the racers who want to reduce the weight of the flywheel always grind on the backside of the flywheel.

Buy a new flywheel! Do not grind on the front surface....

it's been done numerous times by members on this forum. I wasn't asking for an opinion of whether it should be resurfaced or not, but where I can have it performed

no one knows anybody? I'm gonna call around and see then. They have to be able to use a stone grinder and grind the two-step flywheel properly.

Then again you have done far worse to your car. You should have just hit up the phone book in the first place, thats how I locate shops.

i read everywhere and the guys at B&T told me you need to lean the motor back to get to some of the bolts. i didn't feel like getting in to all of that cause i don't really have time, so i changed my mind about doing it myself. if you need help friday-sunday lmk though i can come over this weekend for the piping too

i tried when i needed to install my clutch/flywheel, but no one stepped up. call B&T and ask them--they installed my 4.77s for a total $285 which is almost half what other local shops are charging. they've been around for a while and work on many cars.
