my invoice only said 8090 Gear Oil. I know that refers to the weight (I believe), which is what the S2000 manaul states is required. I also know the manual says it must be GL5/GL6. I had my diff fluid special ordered, per the invoice and I'm 99.9% sure I brought the damn owners manual up to the parts counter and the service advisor so we could read every damn label on the diff fluid bottle to make sure it matched the manual.

Im going to forget I ever read this thread, at least until that time when my diff dies, at which point I'll take out the 15 pages of Forum threads I printed out about this topic and go to the dealer;-)
