If he's in an underground parking garage, it should be warm enough to put it down. But I would only put it down if you could feel that the window was still pliable. Anyway, if you do this BE VERY CAREFUL!!!! I cracked mine when I put it down in cold weather. I've since replaced it with the glass top and can ride top down in pretty much any weather now

Anyway, welcome aboard

Make sure you get to learn how the car handles before you go pushing it. It is a very unforgiving car once you start to lose it.
