Honestly I think your best best would simply be to gather up a number of cardboard boxes...wrap the exhaust in newspaper or such first...then wrap it in cardboard. You're not likely to get a great 'single' box to handle that I'd bet.

Then again...try taking a trip (or make a call) to a local muffler / exhaust shop. Maybe they throw tons of shipping cartons right out the back of their building every night...
