[QUOTE=Dark,Jul 2 2008, 08:53 PM]Not a fan of the CR nor am I a fan of paying near 30k for one (thus a private sale will be my best bet).

HOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i can barely get like lil over 20
I just got 28.5mpg on a tank with 50% city, 50% hwy, top down, ~70-75 average highway speed (EPA Highway only is 26mpg). It's easier in an AP2 than an AP1 (which burns rich). The best mileage I'd gotten before was low 20's.

Tire pressure @ 44psi, 75% throttle only, shift @ 3k rpm, pulse and glide, drive smoothly, keep it under 60, drive top up... You'd be surprised how often you can coast in neutral.

Almost forgot: warm air intake will also boost your mileage, as well as good plugs and clean oils. You can even go to different oils (as long as they're within spec) to reduce drag.

You don't have to drive it like you stole it all the damned time. Treat it like any other 4 cylinder economy car, especially staying out of WOT and you'll see your fuel efficiency go up a lot.

You know how, when you pull away from the stop lights, everyone else is always way behind you? Yeah... That.

I saw a GPW out front at Brown Honda in Arlington last night when I drove by. Not sure if new or what. Check it out!! EDIT - I just called them (I deal with them alot and bought my Rio from them). It's an '05 with tan interior - 18K miles. Asking $23,900 but if you are like me you can bargain! 100K-mile Honda warranty.
