Default Looking for some help

I've been looking around for an s2k for a little while, found one that sounds promising. Its a stock MY02 NFR, 38k miles, listed on the sale forums here. I've talked to the owner, he is the second owner, sounds like he has taken good care of the car. I was wondering/hoping for someone to take a look at the car for me. I'm in Cleveland and would hate to make the trip and find a piece of junk. Seller says he is about 60 miles south of DC. PM me if you would like, thanks in advance guys.

60 miles south of DC... is that near Fredericksburg? What is the owner's screen name? I may be willing to help if none of the closer guys can step up.

There should be plenty of people to look at the car. If its in Fredericksburg Aaron or I could certainly look at it for you.

Found the ad, https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=481561

he could be the one I saw over in Remington, which is about 15 minutes from my house. Let us know.

He said that he works in Herndon (zip code 20170) and lives in Culpepper (22701). Does that give a better fix? Does not sound like he was active on the boards (screen name 'eaweld', appears that he jumped on to sell the car. I don't want anyone to go out of their way for this, especially given that lovely DC traffic. But I know how valuable input from members is. Thanks again guys.

S2KinVA lives VERY close to Culpepper. Chris, if you're too busy I'll make the drive down. (about 45-50min one way)

I live in Culpeper, and I think I know what car it is. I would be happy to look at it for you.

OK, closing the loop on this. Thanks to S2KinVA's help, I've finally joined the s2k's offical ownership ranks. I have a handshake deal on the NFR MY02 in Culpeper that was listed on the sale forums here. I clearly would not have pulled the trigger without the help rec'd here. I'll be making the trip east to pick up the car sometime in the next couple weeks, look forward to meeting Chris and some other members. First round is on the guy in the Indian's hat.
