Default maintenance work

hey guys, just wanted to see if anyone knows who can do maintenance work around the NOVA area. I need my tranny and differential fluid changed. I recall reading about someone who does a lot of work and him coming out to help another member stranded on the highway but I can't find the thread. If anyone knows who I'm talking about or can recommend anyone it'd be great. thanks.

You should consider doing it yourself. It's very easy to do a fluid swap for the diff and tranny. Here's a link the to DIY section with lots of info on how to do it...

complaint for an oil change...wow.

As for the transmission. I also wanted to do it myself but I don't have jackstands or a good location.

Just a tip, it's always best to have the car level when topping off the diff or tranny(to get a proper fill).

The trick is not starting work until you know the workers have gone home. For me that magic time is 6pm. I can do any of my own work after 6 and as long as I'm not bothering anyone I won't get bothered.
