May 21 - MBCA Track event - Summit Point
this will probably get deleted since I am apparently not worthy of a Mid-A badge......
Anyone of your jerky's intersted in buying a set of used Hoosiers? they were used for 1 race weekend and 1 track day. They are from 2005 so they are probably not THE STICKIEST, but i am sure they are much better than street tires.
they are 225/50/16 and 245/45/16's... i can take pics if needed.
$100 is all I am looking for....

Hardtopguy is getting the parts to me most ricky-tick. LCA, steering rack and associated items. Cosmetically, the car will not be touched before the 21st event. Mechanically, the car should be sound!
Since I have no way to get all for tires to the track, I'll most likely have to run r-comps on the rear and hauling the fronts in the passenger seat/trunk. I'll also have to drive all that way with the wing on.
Right now, though, it looks like I'm a "go" on the track day. w1ngman is helping me bigtime with hauling and housing my trailer. Not sure what to do about my truck though.

The offer stands, if you want. I do live about 300 yards down a gravel road, I'm not sure what that would do to the R comps, but I think they would be fine by the time you get to the track.
I have a truck with a hitch, but I don't have a trailer. If there is anything I can do to help, let me know.
Just got in from getting the trailer and the truck back to Fred'burg. w1ngman drove to east Richmond and trailered the trailer back for me.
I had to pay to have the truck trailered. Collectively, I paid almost $900 for towing and storage.
I'm tired, but wanted to say thanks for the support and offers. Dave's probably only halfway home right now. Poor guy's been up since 3AM, yet he went way above and beyond for me. I am a very fortunate guy.

Now you have a Race Car! You should just jump into the Honda Challenge with JFO.
