Now you have a Race Car! You should just jump into the Honda Challenge with JFO.
...and now you're allowed to run XP12's!!!

this will probably get deleted since I am apparently not worthy of a Mid-A badge......

Anyone of your jerky's intersted in buying a set of used Hoosiers? they were used for 1 race weekend and 1 track day. They are from 2005 so they are probably not THE STICKIEST, but i am sure they are much better than street tires.

they are 225/50/16 and 245/45/16's... i can take pics if needed.

$100 is all I am looking for....

Sorry to hear about your accident Skip. It sounds like it could have been a lot worse. I'm glad you won't at least miss out on the event.

Hardtopguy is getting the parts to me most ricky-tick. LCA, steering rack and associated items. Cosmetically, the car will not be touched before the 21st event. Mechanically, the car should be sound! Since I have no way to get all for tires to the track, I'll most likely have to run r-comps on the rear and hauling the fronts in the passenger seat/trunk. I'll also have to drive all that way with the wing on.

Right now, though, it looks like I'm a "go" on the track day. w1ngman is helping me bigtime with hauling and housing my trailer. Not sure what to do about my truck though.
Wow Sip, that sounds like a pretty scary ride! Glad you are OK.

The offer stands, if you want. I do live about 300 yards down a gravel road, I'm not sure what that would do to the R comps, but I think they would be fine by the time you get to the track.

I have a truck with a hitch, but I don't have a trailer. If there is anything I can do to help, let me know.

The event is not full. Send an e-mail to Joe Wozney to confirm.
I have traded some e-mails with him and I am definitely in.

Just got in from getting the trailer and the truck back to Fred'burg. w1ngman drove to east Richmond and trailered the trailer back for me. I had to pay to have the truck trailered. Collectively, I paid almost $900 for towing and storage.

I'm tired, but wanted to say thanks for the support and offers. Dave's probably only halfway home right now. Poor guy's been up since 3AM, yet he went way above and beyond for me. I am a very fortunate guy.

One problem: money. The truck is most likely $8k away from being whole again. That's money I don't have.
