Default MD Tech Day Photos

I finally got the photo posting thing to work - Thanks Steve!!

Power Bleeder Setup

Steve and John inspect the bleeder

Chunky Brake Fluid

Black and Tan out of brake fluid - Not quite as tasty as Guiness and Bass

Peter's lowered S always makes life interesting

What we were looking at - In order to clear Peter's exhaust we had to put a block between the jack and the pumpkin.

Boards placed under wheels to keep the jack from hitting the front lip on the way down.

Drawing fluid into the syringe (Note the air gap between the plunger and the oil - 90w oil doesn't flow well even after sitting in the sun)

Puting the fluid into the differential

Working on two Suzukas at a time!

Working on the tranny

Oh, a couple of more things:

Thanks again John and Diane.

Learned that one can lift the weight of the car by the diff to get it on jack stands. I was alway reluctant to do that and lifting from side to side to get it up on stands is scary.

The old addage about any job being easier if one has the right tools is certainly true with that Power Bleeder. I am have to either stay friends with John or get me one of those. Talk about having the right tool for brake fluid replacement it was almost too easy for a one person operation.
