Metros's Epic Detail Thread
Surprisingly I don't have a car lined up for this weekend. I did have Ron's (BeepBeep) new Mercedes lined up but he had to pull out due to some unexpected expenses that came up.
Maybe I'll actually get time to do my own car.

Did some family work over the weekend. My brother in law parked his F150 under a tree overnight. Unfortunately it rained and caused the branches to sag down on the hood, which were then blown around all night creating a mess of rash on the hood.
This is the result:

Front end washed, clayed, and prepped for polishing.
-1z Intensive Polish on an Uber orange pad
-Wolfgang total swirl remover on Uber green pad
-Menzerna Power Lock to seal in the goodness
-A scolding not to let it happen again.

Do you have anything for the tires?, I love it when my tires have the wet look. Might be interested in you doing my 996tt since I recently moved and have no access to wash my car anymore, and a lot of birds have since shit all over it.
I've just recently started using Adam's VRT. It's good for tires and trim. I really like this product since it's:
-water proof - won't rinse off if it rains
-adjustable - It goes on very wet looking and can be buffed down to a matte finish based on what look you're going for.
I would love to work on your 996. Are you looking for paint correction or just some freshening up? I also use the leather masters trio for interior work, which produces excellent results on leather seats.
Let me know if you're interested or have any questions about methods I use. I'm located near Leesburg.
