im 90% sure i will be able to attend one of the 2 shoots is the location of them the same as the first one? and just incase i cant make it are we allowed to submit our own?
Brad mentioned this thread to me this past weekend after I'd installed his 'Angel Eyes'.
After reading through this thread, it looks like a couple folks have mentioned October. But as I don't see anyone having been assigned that month yet, then might I make an offer? Only thing is, I'd like to submit my own photo (see below for examples)...but I'd like to re-shoot basically the same shots again. IMO the trees in this backdrop are the essence of Autumn's golden goodness. And splash a not-to-shabby 200K+ mile Spa against to add just a touch more radiance .
I impulsively shot these pics last fall with my Canon G2 on a local rural road west of Richmond, VA around November 1st. Obviously, these same trees would be better captured around first-to-mid-October. I've returned the hood to stock since these pics below. And a reshoot would _not_ include a front plate.
Assuming the calendar project could wait for me, I would begin recon of this location around the end of September, keeping on top of it for that 'just right' day. Under the circumstances, I should be able to supply a series of photo submissions by mid-October. I know a local photog that will take clean, hi-res shots for submission. And anyone that knows me, knows I'm no flake when it comes to a sense of responsibility . Of course, I appreciate that the timing of my October offer, and the need to produce the calendar by 'X' date...might conflict. And if the calendar project cannot wait, I would respectfully and completely understand .
