Default Modified S2K For Sale!

Hey guys I have put the car up for sale since the first round on EBay didn't reach my reserve. I think I will put it back up on Ebay in a few days. Until then I have an ad in the For Sale forum. If any of you know someone in the area that might be interested I would appretiate you getting the word out.

Thanks
Luke

just a suggestion. part it out, ppl rarely buy modded cars, the hard top, wheels, and the supercharger should be easy sell. the hood also. maybe the body kit, good luck with the sale

Yeah I have considered parting it out but would like to avoid the hassle if possible, thanks for the suggestion anyway.

well, how close to your reserve did you get? I could understand not parting it out if the price got near the reserve, but for a car in that shape (good) with such low mileage, I'd think you'd easily get what you're asking - if not more - parted out. New price on a SC is what? $5k? You'd sell that sucker easy for $3,500-$4,000. $1,500-$2,000 for the wheels & tires, $1,000 for the hardtop... All these things should sell easily here on s2ki. My neighbor recently paid $22k for an 02 w/30k miles (completely stock)... charge a bit more since it's got the stereo system, that more than makes your reserve right there without even considering the I/H/E...

I realize it's a PITA - both in terms of putting to stock and selling multiple parts - but if you're not in a rush, I think you might actually get a good bit more parted out than you're asking as a package.

Not that you haven't thought of all this... but hey

Good luck with the sale

Yeah as I said earlier I have considered parting it out and I've had conversations with several people about it, but I'm not willing to go down that road quite yet, once you start parting out you have to go all the way because there is no turning back. So I would like to sell the car as is if possible. The car has way to much invested for me to let it go for less than it's worth. So I'll see what happens here, and take it from there. I appreciate all the input guys, thank you.

I completely realize that I'm going to take a hit on a car this modified, however like I said before I'm not prepared to part it out yet. I got a few offers from when it was on ebay that were close to what I want so I'm going to see what happens here. Once again I really appreciate everyones input a lot!

Thanks guys

Luke
